my code is running and I'm getting an alert box that is providing the requested message but I'm getting the question wrong.
var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = true;
if ( isAdmin ) {
alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if (isStudent = true) {
alert('Welcome Student');

22,916 PointsHi Marc,
You were so close. Just a technicality!
You wrote student with a capital S and the challenges can be very strict! ;)
Try it like this:
var isAdmin = false;
var isStudent = true;
if ( isAdmin ) {
alert('Welcome administrator');
} else if (isStudent = true) {
alert('Welcome student');
}
