Even though I use "header("Location: contact-thanks.php");" , I am redirected to http://localhost/contact-process.php .

Of course, that page has been deleted, so an error message is displayed.

Could we please see your code. Chances are that there is some sort of error somewhere else in your code that you are not seeing.

Thank you very much for your reply. The mistake was that I had forgotten to delete the action attribute which had the value "contact-process.php".
