Every time I put 10px;} into padding of links it tells it is incorrect but that is the code needed to complete the task,

The lesson is telling me to put 10px;} into padding of links so when I go to put it in it tells me I am incorrect but i don't understand why.

You have an additional } immediately after the 40px; and 10px; lines. Remove them.
