Pasan introduces too many new concepts without taking the time to explain them in this video. He moves too quickly and assumes that we know what he is talking about.
Can some one explain downcasting and upcasting to a 5 year old? Can someone explain what he is doing and why, I am confused in literally the whole video.
None of the answer I have seen in the forums have been of any help to understand down casting and upcasting simply.

14,575 PointsHey Anthony: I had the same question a few weeks ago. Someone took the time to explain it to me, even tho I am not 100% clear when to use down casting other than in segues, this helped me a lot in understanding the concept. Here is the link to my question.
