Extra question issue

Hi, I am trying to create an "extra points" program and dealing with google's search API. When I try to read from InputStreamReader and get a connection.getContentLength() method it throws an exception and says length equals -1. I tried to search on web and found that negative getcontentlength() means that the content length is not known. Or more specifically, the server is not setting a "Content-Length" header in the response message.

How do I need to handle with this? Thanks
