Extracting files from Android Studio zip

I clicked "extract all" for the files in the Android studio zip file. When it started extracting files it said that there were 19,991 files left to extract and that it would take up to 13 hours, it was extracting the files really slowly and after a long time only 2% was done. I just wanted know if this is normal and if it usually takes that long to extract?

Umm, to be honest it seems abnormal to me. It didn't take me so long. It took me some minutes - 1 hour max (I don't remember exactly) but definitely not 13 hrs.

There are indeed errors with the zip file linked to this video. Original sources files are available here:

I downloaded the latest version; it is unclear which version Treehouse is using.
