Files does not found in terminal but exist

Hello, i have a folder in my desktop and i want to get access thru the terminal, when i type ls desktop i can see the folder there but when i type LS (name of the folder) says, directory don't exist. What could be happening here?

Make sure you are typing ls folder_name with a lowercase ls. Bash is case-sensitive. Also, make sure you are in the parent directory of the folder you would like to print the contents of. For example, if you want to run ls on grandchild in parent/child/grandchild, you need to be in parent/child.
