Filezilla for client or server?

do we download filezilla for client or for server? it says Pick the client if you want to transfer files. Get the server if you want to make files available for others. but im not really sure what both of those are im guessing its the filezilla for client because we are just updating files wordpress? when would we share files?

Filezilla Server is for running a server, where you would host files and people can then download them from you. To connect to a server to edit files for wordpress, you definitely want Filezilla client.
