I'm confused as to how you got past task 2 with the code provided - but I'll see if I can help

(1) First some things that didn't need to be changed: I moved the closing body tag back to where it was

<h2>The Main Articles</h2></body>

and removed that article tags around the footer since it is just a footer

<footer>
  <article>
  <p>&copy; 2017 My Blog</p>
  </article>
</footer>

to get the original code:

<footer>
  <p>&copy; 2017 My Blog</p>
</footer>
</body>

(2) Second your aside tags. You are in the right area but used an opening article tag and closed with an opening aside tag:

 <article>
        <h3>Follow Me on Social Media:</h3>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="#">Twitter</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Facebook</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">LinkedIn</a></li>
        </ul>
    </main>
      <aside>

Using aside tags you would have

<aside>
        <h3>Follow Me on Social Media:</h3>
        <ul>
          <li><a href="#">Twitter</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">Facebook</a></li>
          <li><a href="#">LinkedIn</a></li>
        </ul>
   </aside>

(3) Now for your question. The main tag is used but don't include the aside. See if you can get it from there.
