CSS CSS Layout Techniques Float Layout Float Layout Challenge

float layout

It looks like we need a clearfix in the header. Give the main-header element the class we created for clearing floats.

index.html

        </header>
        <div class="primary col">

If I'm understanding correctly, you just need to add the css clearfix to the html header. Since the clearfix is in the .group class, it would look like this...

<header class="main-header group">

If you are suppose to create a new style like you're trying to do, it would look like this...

.main-header {
  clear: both;
}

You are just a little off. 'clear' is not an acceptable value for float.
