Create a for loop that logs the numbers 4 to 156 to the console. To log a value to the console use the console.log( ) method.

Bummer! There was an error with your code: SyntaxError: Parse error

what am doing wrong?

script.js
var html = " "

for ( var i = 4; i <= 156 += 1) {

On the for loop itself, you need a semi-colon after 156 followed by the loop variable, i, that your looping over, and on the html variable construction line, you need to close the last div string:

for ( var i = 4; i <= 156; i += 1) { html += '<div>' + i + '</div>'; }

1 Answer

No semicolon at the end of the line:

var html = " "

No semicolon and incremental variable name:

for ( var i = 4; i <= 156 += 1) {

No qutoe mark before semicolon:

  html += '<div>' + i + '</div>;
 }
console.log(html);
var html = '';

for ( var i = 4; i <= 156; i += 1) {
  html += '<div>' + i + '</div>';
 }
console.log(html);
