What am I missing in my code? -(void) viewDidAppear:(Bool)animated{ [super viewDidAppear:animated];

CGRect frame = self.showQuote.frame; self.showQuote.frame = CGRectMake(100,250,280,44);

Actually I just added the line below and it worked fine. self.showQuote.frame=CGRectMake(100,250,280,44); The editor does not expects you to write the extra line of code. I mean i don't see the necessity of this line of code: CGRect frame = self.showQuote.frame;
