Function Question

Can someone please explain why my result keeps saying that just_right has returned the wrong answer please.

strlen.py 
def just_right(names):
    if len(names) < 5:
        return('Your string is too short')
    elif len(names) > 5:
        return('Your string is too long')
    else:
        return('True')

Hi Marshall! Couple problems here, that are easy to fix. Firstly, when you return something, there are no parentheses required, like with print(). All you have to do is type return, hit space, and then type what needs to be returned. In this case, it's asking to return strings and a boolean. Here's what is should look like-

def just_right(string):
    if len(string) < 5:
        return "Your string is too short"
    elif len(string) > 5:
        return "Your string is too long"
    else:
        return True

The second problem was that it's not asking you to return the string 'True', but the boolean True. There are no parentheses, quotation marks, or any other special syntax required, just the word! Hopefully this helps :)
