Future of PHP curriculum?

Alena Holligan ,

Can you share what the future of PHP curriculum looks like at Treehouse? Randy's excellent stuff seems to have gotten stale, and part of it taken offline. Also, Hampton Paulk's great Laravel and OOP content seems to be suffering the same fate.

What's the PHP roadmap?

thanks, -james

We should have some good updates to the PHP Track by the the end of the month, including replacements for Randy's courses. OOP is in the process of being revamped and I am extremely excited to get that out there in the next few months.

Hi Alena Holligan , I have used treehouse for a good few years now, and it really did help me as a developer. The thing I think users would benefit from would be more MVC tutorials. The Laravel tutorials are based on Laravel 4, which is pretty pointless for new developers to learn as Laravel 5.2 is out.

I know that laracasts provide everything you would want to know, however, I was in a situation where I struggled to fund both a treehouse account and laracasts account at the same time. I think other users may be in the same situation.

Planning on some more MVC in general, as well as some Laravel :) and ways to keep updated

+10 to what Matthew Smart said.
