Hi Nan!

This should work:

func duplicate<T>(item: T, numberOfTimes: Int) -> [T] {
    var array: [T] = []
    for _ in 1...numberOfTimes {
        array.append(item)
    }
    return array
}

func duplicate<T> (item: T, numberOfTimes: Int) -> [T]  {
    var someArray  = [item]
    for _ in 1..<numberOfTimes {
        someArray.append(item)
    }
    return someArray as! [T]
}

duplicate(item: 2, numberOfTimes: 3)

this worked
