Getting an error java.lang.NullPointerException in ListAdapter.java. How do I fix this?

When attempting to run the program, I'm getting this error: 

Process: rioscreative.com.golfscorecard, PID: 4011
java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'android.view.View android.view.View.findViewById(int)' on a null object reference at rioscreative.com.golfscorecard.ListAdapter.getView(ListAdapter.java:44)

The code referenced reads as follows: 
LayoutInflater.from(mContext).inflate(R.layout.list_item, null);

It doesn't seem to like the null value. Did I miss something?

You forgot to set convertView to your inflated layout:

convertView = LayoutInflater.from(mContext).inflate(R.layout.list_item, null);
