Android Android Tools Using Git for Android Saving to a GitHub Repository

Git add question

if i use git add * I get the following error

$ git add * The following paths are ignored by one of your .gitignore files: build Use -f if you really want to add them. fatal: no files added

and if i use git add . i get the following error

$ git add . warning: LF will be replaced by CRLF in gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties . The file will have its original line endings in your working directory. warning: LF will be replaced by CRLF in gradlew. The file will have its original line endings in your working directory.

I guess the Git Basics course explains these a bit: http://teamtreehouse.com/library/git-basics (I have not yet started this course however, will do eventually!)

I did have the same warning as you when using "git add ." however, just ignored the warning.
