I have tried copy & pasting as well as typing out the URL but it won't pass.

Off the top of my head, I think you don't need the colon after origin.

git remote add origin https://blablablabla.git

origin should not have a colon.

git origin add remote "https://github.com/a;ysonla/portfolio.git"

Mine is not working either
