Google Chrome wont let me upload images to the workspace (OS X)

I try to upload the images like it's stated in the video, but i am always getting a "File upload error".

I read about various issues with the upload in some other threads and tried out all the advised ways to upload those images (drag & drop, right-click upload and so on), but still it's giving me the error-message. Any help is highly appreciated

EDIT: I also tried out firefox and it wont work

The message i get reads:

"File upload error!

Sorry. This upload was successful. Please try again by selecting all the files within the directory. "

Indeed this seems to now be a running problem; have you tried via file to upload, that normally works?

In work spaces, under the file menu is where the upload file. I got that to work. The pictures do not appear when I view the page.

Thank you for the answers. I think i tried all possible options (dragging and dropping and uploading via the File-menu), but nothing seems to work right now. My girlfriend on the other hand is able to upload on her macbook, so it seems not to be an issue for everyone. I also tried to restart/ - boot everything, but this also didn't fix the issue. I really have no idea what could possibly cause the problem :-/

Try use a safari

@Nitish Lakhman: Tried it, but sadly it also did not work :(

That's strange? Try logo as a guest on your macbook and then check?

Nitish Lakhman : Yeah, i also tried it with a guest account, but this also did not work. I really have no idea what could cause the problem.

Have you tried creating a new workspace and add some images on that? Theo Salzmann

Nitish Lakhman : Yeah, i did this about a minute ago. Are there any plugins needed to make the workspace fully work? Or are there any rights i need to give it? Because it has to be something browser unrelated probably...

Nope no plug in is required. But, check you have the latest browser installed and Flash + Java (?)

Nitish Lakhman : Yeah, everything is up to date actually. I also tried to turn off my firewall and even reset my router. But nothing seems to help. It's weird, because it doesn't even try to upload. The error message shows up immediately after my attempt to upload the files.

In that case, it might just be an error with workspace in general, as a lot of people have had difficulties with it, some resolved some not. Email teamtreehouse if the problem still persist after a few days.

Nitish Lakhman : OK, i will do that. Thank you for your attempts to help :) It's weird, because it really seems to be related to my macbook as everything works fine on my girlfriends mac.

I am having the EXACT problem. Tried Chrome, Safari and Firefox. Tried individual files tried through file upload tried the whole folder, tried every file in the extracted zip file and nothing. I think this is a bug relating to MACs.

Yeah. You are probably right. Even the support was not able to find out what causes the problem. I just started using my own editor, which is not a bad idea at all, because you can start working offline :)
