CSS The Media Queries Solution

Google Viewport Extension

I am trying to use the Viewport Extension that I downloaded - I see it in my panel but when I resize the screen I see no info on screen size - like when Guil does it?

Thanks!

Hi Vanessa,

What extension did you install for chrome? Is it enabled and did you close out of your browser completely and try again?

Hi Chris, Once I refreshed Chrome its working. The sizes are displayed up top in a black bar vs the small box in the right bottom corner of Guil's screen.

Thanks

V

Its working on all the live pages - but the page I am creating in the browser - it doesn't work.

Why is this?

I believe you have to enable one of the options in the extension settings to allow for file access locally. In the web address area you can type chrome://extensions then find the viewport extension you installed. Place a checkmark in the "allow access to file URLs" option, restart Chrome entirely again and it should work.

This is getting so frustrating! There is nothing to click?? It just has a checkbox for enabled and thats it.

I wish I could show you a screenshot?
