Great! Now let's create a similar method named isFullyCharged that checks to see if the current bar count is at the maxi

I just dont understand. I have already tried this 35 different ways and it keeps saying task 1 no longer passing. what am I doing wrong?

GoKart.java
class GoKart { public static final int MAX_BARS = 8; private String color; private int barCount;

public GoKart(String color) { this.color = color; }

public String getColor() { return color; }

public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
  if (barCount == 0) {
    return true;
  } else {
    return false;
  }
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() { return barCount == MAX_BARS; }
}

public void charge() { barCount = MAX_BARS; } }

Hi there! You're doing fantastic. You have one tiny issue which is causing a syntax error. Check your isFullyCharged method. It has one open curly brace, but two closed curly braces. Removing one of those causes your code to pass both steps. Well done! :sparkles:

Thanks! I was on that for about an hour last night. Can't believe I missed that!

Hey Bala,

The issue is that you have an extra closing curly bracket following your isFullyCharged method.
