Java Java Objects Harnessing the Power of Objects Computed Properties

Great! Now let's create a similar method named isFullyCharged that checks to see if the current bar count is at the maxi

public boolean isFullyCharged() { return barCount == MAX_BARS; } } public void charge (){ barrCount = MAX_BARS; } }

GoKart.java
class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }

  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }
  public boolean isBatteryEmpty(){
   return barCount == 0;
  }
}
 public boolean isFullyCharged() {
   return barCount == MAX_BARS;
  }
}
 public void charge (){
   barrCount = MAX_BARS;
 }
}

There are a few things wrong with your code. First isFullyCharged() is not written inside the GoKart class. Every class is opened and closed with curly braces. Also each method within a class is opened and closed with curly braces. The isFullyCharged() method is after you close out the GoKart class. Second for you have duplicate charge() method. Below is the code that I wrote that works.

class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
  private String color;
  private int barCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    this.color = color;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return color;
  }

  public void charge() {
    barCount = MAX_BARS;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return barCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {
    return barCount == MAX_BARS;
  }
}
