General Discussion

Has anyone asked their employer to pay for their Treehouse subscription? How exactly did you go about it?

I want to ask my company to pay for it, but I can't tell them it's accredited or that I receive a cert. So I'm wondering what was someone else's experience.

Yep. I did. I told my boss it would help me support our business, which it has. I make sure to take courses related to what I do, and occasionally show him what I'm working on. As far as I.T./Programming training is concerned, Treehouse is quite reasonably priced.

I'd agree. For an entire year of moving at my own pace, it's less than $600.00 dollars. If I attend ONE Learning Tree class, it's like 2k and change, it's only 4 days long and I don't have access to the things I learned. I think they'll do it. Thanks for replying, Tod.
