56 PointsHas Treehouse got a preferred virtual mac provider and a video to walk through setup for students struggling on PCs?
There seem to be lots of different providers online but it looks time consuming and difficult for beginners to select, set up, trial and then find they run into hitches accessing / downloading xcode etc.
The IBM Swift Sandbox is certainly very accessible but looks rather different to the coding screen shown in the videos.
It would be helpful to have a reputable virtual mac provider endorsed or recommended by Treehouse in order to take beginners using a PC through the process in a video. In the same say as the intro to xCode helps Mac users to do this.
This would help to make this learning more accessible to those without a Mac but who are happy to pay an additional fee in order to access the same software as shown in the training videos and stop people giving up in the first few lessons.
