Having some trouble on retrieving the value on this question, and assigning it.

Any help would be appreciated.

dictionary.swift
// Enter your code below
var iceCream = ["CC": "Chocolate Chip", "AP": "Apple Pie", "PB": "Peanut Butter", "RR": "Rocky Road"]
iceCream["AP"]
let applePie =

The whole code challenge should look like this actually:

var iceCream: [String: String] =
["CC": "Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough",
"AP": "Apple Pie",
"PB": "Peanut Butter",
"RR": "Rocky Road"]

let applePie = iceCream["AP"]

Hi Dean, if I am right you want to "Retrieve the value for apple pie using the correct key and assign it to a constant named applePie."

You did all right but just didn't assing the value to the constant applePie

let applePie =  iceCream["AP"]
