Having trouble opening the console in Chrome, from a Windows 7 machine

I get an error message saying that it is temporarily unable to load

Did you try just closing out of Chrome completely and trying it again? Also, even though their videos use Chrome a lot, you can do console stuff in other browsers' developer tools such as Firefox and Safari.

That's strange I just checked and it's working now, did you change anything in the last two days? I swear it wasn't working every time I tried for 4 days

Does the console say "Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CACHE_MISS" ?

If that is not the exact error message let us know. That will help us figure out a fix
