JavaScript JavaScript Basics Making Decisions in Your Code with Conditional Statements Use Multiple Conditions

Hello, can you please help me out with this problem? :D I will appreciate if you can help me! :D

if ( money > 10 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time to go to the theater.");    
} else if ( money >= 8 || today === 'Friday' ) {
  alert("Time for a movie and dinner.");    
} else if ( today !== 'Friday' ) {
  alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out.");   
} else {
  alert("This isn't Friday. I need to stay home.");

I think you need to reset (or change) your challenge before you continue. the second else if statement should be

else if ( money >= 50 || today === 'friday )
//not
else if ( money >= 8 || today === 'friday' )

Then try again. remember || will execute if either statement is true.

Also reread this statement. today !== 'friday' means else if today is not fri go to the movies? That cant be right.

alert("It's Friday, but I don't have enough money to go out.");
