let areaInFeet = (height / 12 ) * (width / 12)   // <~~~ This works 

//pass in the above constants (that were assigned as Doubles)  
// divide by 12 on each value to get the FEET.  

//in your example above, you passed in arbitrary values of INTS, and not doubles.  
// always use the variables or constants you create as your Values to conduct the math upon.
