//They are probably starting you out with writing the full call to write to the page so using alert straight away is not what they want.

You don't need the P tags for this example Derek. :)

You technically don't, but it's surely not bad practice to add them. After all, that's how this method was shown in the previous video before this challenge, but with h1 tags instead of p.

You're right, i haven't seen the video previous so i just wrote the needed syntax for the challenge.
