CSS Sass Basics Getting Started with Sass Declare and Use Variables

Help i'm stuck with this code challange

i know i almost true, but i dont know how to do the margin left with gutter

style.scss
$color-brand: #6a5acd;
$gutter: margin-left:20px;

h1 {
color:$color-brand;
}

.col {
   $gutter;

}

Hi Matas,

You're very close! When referencing variables you still need to provide the style property. Just like you did with the colour variable in the H1 selector.

So when you're setting the variable for margin-left, remove the margin left from the variable declaration, and add it to the .col selector.

$color-brand: #6a5acd;
$gutter: 20px;

h1 {
  color:$color-brand;
}

.col {
  margin-left:  $gutter;

}
