help something ??

now i see video slice but i don't understand what is the best to choose png or gim or jpe

Depends on the situation.

PNGs have no compression (bigger file size for instance) but they have alpha layer meaning the can have transparent pixels.

JPGs can be compressed (to minimize file size) but has no alpha layer.

I do not know GIM.

I think the "gim" is a misspelling and he meant 'gif' instead (or at least I am assuming).

As for the question, it all really depends on the project, and what you are looking to accomplish. They all have their uses.
