6,985 Pointshelp to add a banner
Hi, does anyone have experience with text/edit on mac. I have added the following code to make a banner, however nothing seems to be happening. Can you see what the problem is?
<!DOCTYPE>
<head>
<title>banner title</title>
<style>
html{
margin:0;
padding:0;
height:100%;
width:100%
overflow:hidden;
}
body{
margin:0;
padding:0;
height:100%
width:100%
background-color:white;
overflow:scroll;
overflow-x:hidden;
}
.banner{
margin:Opx auto;
padding:0;
height:10%
width:100%
overflow:hidden;
border:solid;
background-color:d8d8d8;
border-color:81daf5;
border-width Opx 0px 5px 0px;
</style>
<body>
</body>
</html>

12,092 PointsI'm not sure, but it looks like you have nowhere specified in the html which the class defining CSS can act on.
</script>
<body>
<div class="banner"> // This should create a div which the .banner CSS can act on
</div>
</body>
</html>
