anything i put isn't working as the answer
error message unexpected token in json at position 0

Hello marcolamoon, try cutting jsonString and *jsonObject from lines 1 and 2 and pasting them into the try block. It think it's just the parser having a problem with seeing two sets of each the way you were doing it.
