HELP!!! with code challenge task 1 of 2

anything i put isn't working as the answer
error message unexpected token in json at position 0

app.js 
var jsonString = 'This is not a JSON String';
var jsonObject = JSON.parse(jsonString);

 try{var jsonString = 'This is not a JSON String'; var jsonObject = JSON.parse(jsonString);

Hello marcolamoon, try cutting jsonString and *jsonObject from lines 1 and 2 and pasting them into the try block. It think it's just the parser having a problem with seeing two sets of each the way you were doing it.
