help with sundaes list /display menu question in python basics.

Im really lost smh. Sorry but could someone help me.

banana.py 
available = "banana split;hot fudge;cherry;malted;black and white"
sundaes = available.split(';')
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(", ").join(display_menu)

Alright, let's finish making our menu. Combine the sundaes list into a new variable named display_menu, where each item in the list is rejoined together by a comma and a space (", "). Then reassign the menu variable to use the existing variable and .format() to replace the placeholder with the new string in display_menu. If you're really brave, you can even accomplish this all on the same line where menu is currently being set.

Hi Cheyenne I see that you can pass task 3

.format(", ").join(display_menu)

this part of the code is the problem you passed in format() method a string ", " , format accept string to but in this case it should go the display_menu variable, The ", " should be used with the join() method by creating a variable display_menu, it combines the word from sundaes with a comma

display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)     <--- it contains "banana split, hot fudge, cherry, malted, black and white" --->

after you could make like this

menu = menu.format(display_menu)

Now what you attended to do in one line it looks like this, but the display_menu variable still necessary to be created

display_menu = ", ".join(sundaes)
menu = "Our available flavors are: {}.".format(display_menu)
