help,where am i getting it wrong

Assist please

slices.py 
def first_and_last_4(item):
    first_4=item[:4]
    last_4=item[-1:-5:-1]
    return first_4 + last_4

Hey Victor,

I believe the function to return the last_4 was where it was going wrong, this should work: 

def first_and_last_4(item):
    first_4=item[:4]
    last_4=item[-4:]
    return first_4 + last_4
