hes not actually sending anything?

The title of this video is'Sending Data with a GET Request' this is misleading correct me if im wrong but all he is doing is performing a more detailed get request using query strings the title should be performing a more detailed get request

The query string contains data in the form of keyword/value pairs that are sent to the server along with the request. So in a sense it is a "more detailed" request, but those "details" are data items that are being sent.

In some cases the "request" part may be entirely incidental, the entire purpose of making it is just to transfer the data items that are in the query string.
