Hey! I'm getting this error on my code: Bummer: You need to set the 'href' attribute of the second <a> element to 'pies

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, I checked the link and it's the correct one

index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <title>Lists and Links</title>
  </head>
  <body>
  <ul>
    <li><a href="cakes.html" target=_blank>Cakes</li>
    <li><a href="pies.html" target=_blank>Pies</li>
    <li><a href="candy.html"target=_blank>Candy</li>
    </ul>
  </body>
</html>

Hi Laura,

It looks like you forgot to close your <a> tags. If you add in a closing tag </a> after the link text I think it will work.

Also noticed on your target attributes you forgot to put the quotation marks around the "_blank".

The instructions did not say to add the target attributes. So after you fix the closing </a> tags, if it still doesn't pass, you might want to remove the target attributes.

Hope this helps and happy coding! Heidi
