Design Photoshop Foundations Masks Basics Introduction to Masks

Hi Allison. I am new to Photoshop, just started a couple of days ago. I having a hard time following you.

For example: on your MASKS(Photoshop Foundation) tutorial. your pressed 12 buttons and did not say what they are meant for or leave your cursor on long enough for me to see. I have gone the video with the scroll bar and I still cant make out what the button is called. Im working on CS6 , but as long as I know the name of what you are using I will be fine. Your a great teacher and I mean no disrespect. Thank you for your time.

I don't think you're supposed to be following along in this section of the course. Allison is just giving you a brief overview of what she will be covering.

Hey Randers! Yea, I know what you mean. She does move a little fast there, but I think maybe the part that you are talking about is when she is using some shortcut keys to change the size of the brush. (left or right bracket)

Also I had to go back to the first video where she talks about what the tool sections are. She describes the buttons better in the beginning so that it doesn't slow down the presentation too much.

Photoshop is a beast of a program and there is a lot to learn. I would recommend doing a Google search of what you are stuck on and see how someone else does it. Then come back to Treehouse and rewatch the video you were stuck on and see if it makes sense. Just take your time and don't try to learn it all at once.
