Hi Can anyone help me with this code challenge? I am a bit confused.

I am not able to figure out what I am doing wrong as I am somewhat getting confused.

variable_assignment.mm
bool hasBonus;
int powerPoints = 5;
if ( powerPoints <= 3 ) { hasBonus = false }
else ( hasBonus = powerPoints }

Hi Arjun, looks like you're just missing a couple of semi-colons and have used a parentheses ( instead of a curly brace { on the last line. So not to forget to put semi-colons at the end of code statements in future it's good practice to start the contents of your if/else blocks on new lines, something like below:

bool hasBonus;
int powerPoints = 5;
if (powerPoints <= 3) {
    hasBonus = false;
} else {
    hasBonus = powerPoints;
}
