hi dear can you guide me why we are using place holder when we can use stright veriable and get the name

hey dear why we need to use place holder here when we can get the name of the user from variable why we are using here {}.format thanks

I think that this lesson uses {} as a place holder in the string rather than {variable} because in order for the {variable} to run, you would have to use print(f"You should totally learn python {first_name}!") and f-strings have not been covered yet.
