hi how can I transition into to be a UX Designer from another design career any help out there ? :)

I would like to move into UX Design. I am taking treehouse courses to help me and other design classes. I have ten years as vfx designer. Do companies train people or how can I move into this skills set ?

Being in the design industry right now, I have seen as long as you have the design skill set to learn UX and have explored creating UX in your portfolio, could get you into a junior position. Obvious a willingness and energy to learn under seasoned designers will allow for more mentor-like positions.
