Hi it looks like I can't open the Treehouse Console? Can you please advise on this? Cheers!

Do you mean "Launch Workspaces"? Or do you mean the developer console in your browser? Which browser are you using? In Chrome you can use View >> Developer >> Developer Tools, then click on "console". (Sometimes it is hidden, depending on the size of your screen and you have to click the down arrow on the right-hand side to reveal it.)

Hi, Thanks for your quick reply. Actually, I was following the course "Console" from the Front End Development Track. At some point, we are asked to launch the console by clicking on the button, which I did. Then, this opens a window stating that my computer is being configured, but nothing happens after several minutes.

Hi Leo,

I was having the same problem. Normally I use Windows 8.1, but for this course I'm using a Linux virtual machine - Fedora 21 running in VMWare Player, and the console works great.

Let me know if you need help setting up a Linux virtual machine.

Hi have actually installed Ubuntu Desktop on a virtual machine via Oracle VM Virtual box, but I don't really know how to set it up. So it would be good if you could give some advice here.

I just finished setting up Virtual Box with Fedora - I wanted to download Ubuntu by my internet is terrible right now and didn't want to wait the estimated 10 hours.

Aside from my VM showing Fedora, yours should be very similar with Ubuntu.
