After finishing the first section, I am trying to understand how arbitrary this set up is. You'd never get this explanation from the wordpress codex. No way. It seems to me there are many ways of doing the same thing, i.e. someone told me you could simply alter the text files and upload want you need to through there. Also, where is this learned..? That's was unnerving, there is so much documentation on wordpress but a large % of the time it's useless.
