How can i assign the 'completed' value using the already defined value in JSON file?

I have started to take this app a bit further and include some php so i can update the JSON file while the users interact with the list. If i had the completed value in the JSON how would i assign the correct value to the todo item using angular?

So far the only changes i have made are in the JSON - new format here:

{"name": "clean shit", "completed": false, "completedBy": "person1"}
