how can I change this to uppercase? I have tried reassigning the variable to a new variable but the system says wrong

let firstName = "Doh";
let lastName = "Terdlar";
let role = 'developer';
let msg = firstName + ' ' + lastName + ':' + role.toUpperCase() + '.';

Your case conversion is correct, but there should be a space between the colon and the role, and also no period at the end.

Thanks. I added the space and it gave me a different error like (make sure you are concatenating ':' to lastName

You probably still need to remove the period from the end (get rid of this part :point_right: + '.' ).
