How can I set the global configuration to parse HTML tags?

In the Kramdown Quick Reference, it shows us how to use HTML tags within MD. For instance, I wish to wrap my contact information inside <address>, so I need to precede this in contact.md with: {::options parse_block_html="true" /}

However, I would guess that there is a way to set this globally to always parse my HTML, as I will probably still use HTML tags intermittently out of habit or necessity.
