Front End Web Development Techdegree Student 4,556 Pointshow come my developer tools aren't the same as on his screen? I can't change by phone or desktop, no selection options.
Did the developer tools change? mine aren't anything like his. On my computer all i get to see is how to change the border of the site by pixels and his screen is black vs mine that stays white. It would be far more convenient to use something like this rather than browsertock so i'm thinking that maybe the developer tools were downgraded from the time this video was published to now, am i correct?

Chrome DevTools are constantly being changed with each version of Chrome. Abraham's post shows what the icon looks like to toggle device mode. I'd also suggest playing around with the dev tools a little to get familiar with the interface you currently have and what each section does. It does become easier to use over time.
