How could <div class="container"> automatically get the margin of nav bar?

How could <div class="container"> automatically get the margin of nav bar, and align with the rest of page?( Guil did it at 07:30)

It is the Bootstrap scss that gives everything their fixed width. Read the Bootstrap documentation about this at this link http://getbootstrap.com/css/

He uses container at the start of the body to give it a fixed width and at the start of the nav.
