How create println statement within the greeting function to use the variable person?

ie, if pass the function the name Tom, it will then print "Hello Tom". This should use string interpolation.

parameters.swift
func greeting (person: String) {
println ("Hello \(person)")
}

person ("Tom")

Hello Clair :

Everything looks good so far, the only thing is that you are not calling the function right. Remember that when you call the function, you have to call it by its name.

// Functions name is β€œgreeting”

func greeting (person: String) {
println ("Hello \(person)")
}

// Proper way of calling a function
greeting("Tom")

if you need more help please let me know.
