How did you expand the display like that

At the start of the video you expanded the window, by clicking the green button in the top corner of the window, but it gave you full screen options. How?

Hi Ethan,

Yosemite changed the behaviour of the green "maximise" button so now by default it makes a window full screen, to override this action you can simply hold down the option key and you will get an plus icon instead.
